Technical Questions: Do I need to buy any service contract?

No, The price of wireless phones on the Myworldphone.com reflects the cost of the phone only. Service contracts are not required to purchase equipment.  Myworldphone.com does not sell phones with service; our phones are unlocked and will support service from multiple carriers. This means that the phone will work with any GSM network in the world that carries the band/frequencies specified for a particular phone.  If you already have a GSM phone with service, you will need to remove your SIM card (little chip that is located in the back of the phone) and insert it into to the new phone. The new phone will be ready to make and receive calls.
